5 steps to Demi Lovato's Smokey eye makeup look

Demi Lovato’s new dark hair goes perfectly with her awesome smokey eye makeup look. She has heavy eye makeup on that goes with her nude lips. She also has a really strong defined eyebrows and false eyelashes on. This is what everyone has been talking about, “How to achieve Demi Lovato’s smokey eyes”, the steps on how to do it and what colors are similarly used to achieve the look. So I’ve written down 5 easy simple steps to achieve this Look.

For the Smokey eyes.

To start with:

Step 1: Primer your eyes. This will allow your eye makeup to stay all day. I suggest the urban decay’s primer potion, put that all over your lid, don’t put too much so that your makeup wont crease out. Another tip if you don’t have any primer such as the Urban Decay Primer potion simply use a concealer put that all over your eye lid and pat it with a translucent powder.

Step 2: Take a black cream eye shadow pencil or may I suggest to use the NYX Jumbo pencil in black put that on your lids, that would serve as a base before you put on your eye-shadows, it will bring out the intensity of the color even more.

Step 3: Now on with the eye shadows. Take a shimmery brown eyeshadow and put that all over your lids bringing it up pass the crease, basically following the shape of your eye brows and dragging it down underneath the eyes as well, then take a black eyeshadow and create that “V-shape” starting at the outer corner of your eyes, bringing it up to your crease, work your way in and blend it well together with the brown eyeshadow. Next is highlight, put a silvery eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eyes bringing it in just a little bit. Then Lastly take any mat white eyeshadow and put it underneath your brows to define your eye makeup even more.

Step 4: Take a black eye liner and line your upper & lower lash line and your waterline as well.Blend the eye liner under neath your eyes & begin to smoke it out. Put mascara on your upper and lower lashes. For a more dramatic look put on some false eye lashes, it’ll make your eyes stand out.

Step 5: Lastly for the eyes define Your brows, fill in your brows with an eye dark shadow or an eye pencil that would match your hair color.

Here it is, my lingerie post for my Weekly Photo Challenge. I like it. I’m happy with it. Yeah. I really don’t like that I shot it a week before the challenge because I just had to keep looking at it and wanting to post it but can’t. The next challenge is the color yellow. I think I can pull something out. Hmm. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the group as posted. So far, there are a couple that I really like, a lot. =)

SHAME SHAME: Genelia is a copycat!

Now what do I hear… our Chance Pe Dance girl seems to have taken her film title rather seriously.

A little birdie tells me Genny baby is not leaving a single opportunity to copy Priyanka Chopra. Poor thing didn’t realise people around her do have eyes.

It so happened Genelia turned up for a party wearing the same outfit that Piggy Chops was featured in on a magazine cover.

To top it all, the colour too was the exact same. The little girl was obviously unaware of the faux pas. When someone pointed this out to Genelia, the actress was highly embarrassed.

Next thing we know, Genelia has started flipping through every fashion magazine before attending any party. Poor thing!

Ludacris Hits New Low

Is it just me or is this track and video pretty much an accumulation of every Ludacris video that came out a 5 years ago? You know the video’s I mean, one of them featured a midget hanging on Luda’s necklace? As far as accessories, nobody rocks a few hot girls like Ludacris does, fly honeys around Ludacris are like flies on shit. This track is off his upcoming album, Ludaversal, hopefully there’s a little more diversity sonic-wise on the upcoming album.

Kim Kardashian: Reggie Bush and I are NOT? getting engaged if the Saints win the Super Bowl..

Kim Kardashian: Reggie Bush and I are NOT getting engaged if the Saints win the Super Bowl

BY Gina Salamone
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

Kim Kardashian won’t be walking down the aisle anytime soon.

The 29-year-old reality TV star ripped apart rumors that she made a wedding bet with boyfriend Reggie Bush, says UsMagazine.com.

Reports surfaced that Kardashian said in a radio interview that she and on-and-off beau Bush – a running back for Super Bowl contenders the New Orleans Saints – made a deal that if the Saints win the Super Bowl, he’ll propose.

“This is not true,” Kardashian protested on her blog. “I never made any kind of bet. A radio interviewer asked what I dreamed for in 2010 and I was hesitant and thinking about it and they said what about ring [and I] said yes, a Superbowl ring for Reggie. Then they said that if he gets a Superbowl ring, I get an engagement and I said ‘ok deal!’ LOL.”

She added that the exchange was “taken way out of context.”

Kardashian and Bush, who is 24, have been dating for about two years. They briefly broke up in July, but were back together by September.

And just in case you don’t buy Kardashian’s blog comments and want to keep score, the Saints play the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. If they win, they’ll make it to the Super Bowl.

Coming home

When he kissed me there in the parking lot, near the silver Mercedes and the woman with too much lipstick starting her SUV, I didn’t expect that my knees would buckle a bit. And just when I could breathe again, when he released me from his steely grip and my senses began to return, I didn’t expect him to ask me for another.

And when I acquiesced, I definitely didn’t expect that just the hint of pressure from his index finger on my jawline would bring a sudden warmth to my face and chest, even though the night air was well below freezing. Our tongues slid gently as our lips folded, perfectly melding into liquid heat and desire. My hands trembled so that I had no choice but to make them stop by digging my nails into his expensive winter jacket.

His kiss was like coming home.

It lasted less than a minute, but I felt each second tick by – the weight and intensity. Suddenly, we understood the enormity of what this was, and it hung there, taunting us.

Afterward, when I tried to look him in the eye, our mouths exhaling steam into the cold, I found that I could no longer hold his gaze. He could see right through me; I was far too exposed . . .

When I finally started my car, when the shaking stopped so that I could fit the key in the ignition, the radio blared a Jordin Sparks song that I had previously detested. But in that moment, in the busy parking lot under the orange street lamps, where he had just kissed me with such unbridled passion and feeling, I understood.

No Air.

I won’t see him again. We’re married – to other people.

Still, I want him to know that I felt it. And that I’m still feeling it, reliving it. The pounding of my heart. When I forgot to breathe. His lips against mine. The softness of his freshly-shaven cheek. The electricity of his gentle touch. The intoxicating smell of him. His eloquence, intelligence, beauty.

No Air.

Observations While Riding The Subway/TTC In Toronto, Canada on New Years Eve-2009.

It was a few hours away until New years Eve, until the city of Toronto welcomed 2010. While I was riding on the Subway, and listening to my iPod; something caught my attention. I saw a bunch of young adults who looked between the ages of 19-22 years old pre-drinking and on their way to a club. I could not help but notice how they dressed and I cannot forget to mention-how they were acting. The girls were wearing clothing that was extremely tight, flashy and attention grabbing. I mean, a very short dress made up of a bright blue velvet like fabric with matching blue high-heeled shoes that are ridiculously high-is a bit extreme don’t you think? I think that a girl can still be extremely attractive by dressing with more elegance, class or even more simpler. My question is-who says that a nice pair of jeans and a shirt cannot be sexy? I recognize and understand that at times a girl would like to dress more sexy. There is nothing wrong per se with showing some skin. However, there is a line between wearing clothing to be feminine and attracting too much attention. I  felt like I was out-of-place because I am in the age range of those girls and I was not dressed like them and I would not want to. I thought to myself in my head “Maybe, I think too conservatively? Maybe, there is something wrong with how I dress?” I was wearing a pair of jeans that are fitted but not overly tight. A black, fitted, shirt with long sleeves because it was cold and a U of T hoodie on top of the shirt. My black jacket is a female almost wind breaker for the Autumn season. I do wear clothing that is femeine and fitted. I like to feel sexy and wear clothing that is sexy instead of casual but does sexy have to yell for attention? The girls while they were on the Subway acted immaturely and didn’t act their age. They were speaking loudly yelling sometimes, grabbing on the Subway poles to prevent themselves from falling and their choice of words/vocabulary were not that impressive either. I feel like I am a harsh critic and acting too mature for my own good.  Of course, there is definitely a time and place when one goes out, has fun, and doesn’t think about having proper grammar or speaking intellectually. When a girl goes out does that mean she has to dress in a specific way? I was thinking what is responsible for how so many girls dress? Perhaps, the social pressures in today’s society are accountable such the ways in which girls are represented by the media and the expectations that they are expected to follow? For example, in countless television shows and advertisements-girls dress in a specific way-Did you ever notice how girls are expected to possess a feminine, sexy, look in many places such as the hottest nightclubs? The next time you’re in a shopping mall it is very easy to recognize the feminine image that is clearly portrayed in the popular clothing stores-Why can’t a girl wear something that is less revealing or perhaps more unique? I began to contemplate-Who, what, and where decides exactly what is “hot”, “in style”, and “fashionable” for a girl? Let us be honest, in today’s society it just isn’t “cool”, “sexy”, or even shall I dare to say “beautiful” to wear a pair of Levi’s (heaven forbid!) No, a girl has to wear a type or style of jeans that is good enough for today’s current fashion trends. None other than the wise, and classic Dr. Seuss said it best “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” The older I become, and the more time that passes by makes me stand strongly by these words-Always stay true to yourself whether it be the clothing that you decide to wear or the poetry you decide to write-don’t let the pressures and expectations of society dictate who you are or anything else about you.

Greetings...

Hello my dear friends,

I seem to be in a loss of words to describe myself here. This blog I am starting as an anonymous person. I am a male. A computer engineer and a pervert too. I love my sexual fantasies. Most of them are yet to come true.

Startin a blog for sharing my fantasies is one of the fetishes.

I believe I am good at languages. English, though probably least romantic and least scientific, is most common language through the world. Hence all my endeavours on this blog are going to be in english here.

Also, I am sorry but please dont be so addictve to this blog, as I am not sure if i would be able to write continously.

I am a habitual hardworker and hard thinker too. Neither I am some royalty, nor was I born to some tycoon. I have to earn to live. Also I have a feeling I am not gonna be home for long. My job takes me places and I love that.

Also I encourage prospetive readers to post comments & interact as much as possible. That would keep me going…

I guess that would be enough for now. See you around then.!

And yes, Happy New year and Happy Holidays!

Perception

Last night Nightrider and I were curled up on the couch and were  searching for a movie on Netflix on Demand. I am pretty much obsessed with horror movies and Nightrider accepts it but prefers something with a story line rather then the gore i usually pick out, so i started my search in the Newly Released Thrillers section hoping to appease both of us. I was scrolling over titles looking for something that didnt look completely ridiuculous and saw Brittany Murphy’s and Thora Birch’s names pop up when scrolling over Deadline. I remembered last week reading  about how this straight to dvd release (I’m sure this has something to do with the lesbian innuendo of the movie, but leave that for a different post)  had quite a bit of controversy due to the movie poster and dvd cover depicting Brittany Murphy’s character dead in a bathtub, and the fact that she recently passed away from cardiac arrest on her bathroom floor. Too much too soon, i agree full heartedly. Still my morbid curiosity decided this would be the movie we would watch. Now I do admit out of the many deaths in 2009, aside from Michael Jackson’s, the passing of Brittany was the most devestating for me, seeing as I grew up with her as Molly on  the second season of The Torkelson’s (if anyone remembers this show besides me you get 1,000 points) and ofcourse as Ty in Clueless not too mention her parts in Girl Interrupted, Don’t Say A Word, Uptown Girls and ofcourse my all time favorite Drop Dead Gorgeous (if you haven’t seen this movie I demand you netflix it immediately!) I agreed with many people who were attributing her death to possibly drug usage and an obvious battle with body image but didn’t want to chime in on it out of respect but after watching Deadline last night and seeing her in this last movie released before her death its time i speak up about this.

Brittany Murphy appeared in Deadline at her all time thinnest, I want to say definitly somewhere under 90lbs. I commented on how baggy all of the clothes were that she was wearing in the movie (to the point that she looked sloppy) and how it must have been too cover up how skinny she was. Nightrider then pointed out to me that the clothing she was wearing was probably a size 0 (btw 0 is not a size)  and she was just that horribly thin. I’m thinking she was right.  We have all been watching Brittany get thinner and thinner (i want to call her the amazing shrinking woman) as her career had progressed but this was the first time it was truly horrifying to me. After watching this and thinking alot about her death, as well as issues with body image (im refraining from using the medical term for this problem as its not proven and this is just my opinion) and began researching her this morning.

Alot of people mentioned things about her being the fat girl in Clueless and that is where the topic of this blog really comes from. I never percieved Ty’s character as fat, or chubby or anything out of the ordinary. Too me she was the goofy one, the one who only lacked a little in common sense and financial stability,  and the one with the endearing cute giggle. Now I know that its all about perception but I have to wonder did i percieve her as normal and not at all fat because she was around the same size I was when Clueless was originally released? As a fat girl do I see more in people then just their weight? Hell yes and thats something that makes me proud to be the size and the person I am.

I remember always being one of the larger girls in school…ALWAYS. Its interesting now because I from time to time viewed myself as chubby, plump, curvacious or what have you but never anything unworthy or something that needed to be changed. Its actually really interesting that I thought myself heavy at all considering I look back at myself at my 8th grade winter formal, curvacious and busty and a perfect hourglass with a tiny waist in a beautiful red strapless satin dress that none of the other girls in my class could have pulled off. This was the fat girl in school? No Way!

So this is where my journey and Brittany Murphy’s tie together, we were both on a small scale larger then our peers (ofcourse mine were just in public school in Boise, Idaho and hers were on redcarpets at movie premiers) we were both different then what society was wanting us to be but as I grew into the adult I am now I have found acceptance and happiness with my body while she starved hers.  I wonder how many other girls may have possibly idolized her and let her perception of herself make them follow her lead and strive to be thin, thinner, thinnest, and now many out there were lucky enough to have the same perception as me, that big, bigger, biggest can be beautiful and  that we shouldn’t try to change who we are or how we look to fit the mold. I guess thats why I feel a need to be part of the Fat Acceptance movement, not for myself as I am and for the most part have always been accepting of myself, and the way I look, but for others our there whose perception may be scewed and could potentionally lead to unhealthy obsession and self hate.

To Brittany I have  to say I’m sorry that there wasn’t someone there to help give you a better perception but I hope that in your passing it will open up the conversation and help others in the future. Its time we all practive not just fat acceptance but body acceptance and self love in general. You will be missed.
